Sorry for being MIA for so long.. But I am back and will start posting regulary.
Last weekend we had been to a lake and I thought why not share my beach/lake/pool beauty essentials. I hardly go in the water.. I am more of lounging and admiring the nature and the water. So I love to doll up and also gives me a chance to go a little ott with bronzer. here are my essentials..
Sunscreen– spf 50 for face and spf 30 for body.
Bronzer and highlighter- essence gorgeous glow palette, makeup revolution summer of love bronzer
Nyx hd concealer in cw10
Eyeshadow- essence bronzing babe palette (perfect summer palette having gold and bronzy shades)
P2 cosmetics beauty daily defense cream
Essence all about matte compact powder
Aveo body spray
Manhattan intense lip balm in frappuchino
Eos lip balm
These are my essentials. For my eyes I have used the darkest colour in the outer third of the eye and gold colour on the lid. For the lower lashline i have used the rose gold colour. For my hairs, i usually keep it french braided overnight and the next day wake up with the most beautiful natural waves. This trick always works for me thus eliminating all the heat for the curls. I just use a hairspray to keep everything in place.
This is one of my favourite looks. I love the combination of bronze glow and pinky nude lips.
I hope you liked this post and here are a few shots of the lake side.
Tommorow is the first fast thus starting the holy month of Ramadan. Ramadan mubaraq 🙂
Till next time,
Much love 🙂 🙂
Hello everybody !! How are you all doing ? I cant believe june is already here!! I mean seems like just yesterday we were celebrating new years and now we have already reached almost half way !!
This is my april and may favourites combined. I have finally come around to do this post. It was sucha hectic month and I am lagging behind my schedule. So without further adoo..
Due to a lot of travelling, this has really come in handy. Its the dove intense repair leave in conditioner. It comes in 2 separate liquids which you have to mix well before spritzing on to your hair. It leaves the hair soft until next wash. I dont know about repair and stuff as I dint notice maybe Because I dont have a lot of split ends or dry ends.
I have been keeping my skincare routine pretty simple. Lately I have been using Almond oil as a moisturizer and eye cream. It works perfectly well in keeping the skin supple and moisturized. I have also started adding vitamin c (ascorbic acid) powder for brightening and skin tone evening.
Essence gorgeous glow face palette, essence bronzing babe eyeshadow palette, makeup revolution i heart makeup Goddess of love highlighter, sephora mineral foundation in medium 30, essence gel eye liner, p2 cosmetics long lasting maxi lipstick in endless nude, colorbar lipstick in peach crush(from India).
Have an amazing week lovlies 🙂
Until next time —
Much Love 🙂 🙂 💜💜💜
When it comes to affordable products, essence is really putting up the notch. They are one of the best affordable brands and personally I love it.
With the bronzing babe palette, I bought this face palette – gorgeous glow.
This is like a life saver palette. I have been seeing a lot of contouring and highlighting and many companies are releasing many of their versions. This is a great edition if your just starting out into contouring or bronzing and highlighting.
As you see, it comes with a matte bronzer, a highlighter and a blush.
The bronzer is not too orange but just a beautiful matte one perfect on those beautiful cheeks.
My favourite is the highlighter which is free of chunky glitter or shimmer. Its just a pearly champagney sheen. It sits beautifully on top of the blush that comes in this palette.
This is like my perfect corally pinky blush for the summers. Although I may say this to a dozen other blushes 😉 The best part – no shimmers or glitters !!
The pigmentation as well is great. It blends beautifully. All three of them work in great harmony and I am very impressed and happy with my purchase. It retails for 3.45€ .I have used it quite a lot during my travel. It fits perfectly in my makeup bag.
I hope you liked my review!!
Until then, much love 🙂 🙂 🙂
Finally !!!! How are you all everybody ??? Life has been pretty hectic on my end. But this has been the best days of my life since my shifting to Germany. My sisters really made these few days a wonderful and lively one. We still have many shopping trips planned (tee hee) I have already shopped a teenzy bit too much 😉 😉
Coming to the post — so during one of these shopping trips, I spotted these palettes sitting in one part of the store and the moment I had my eyes on them , I was sort of magnetised and pulled towards them. Lo and behold before I even knew they were in my basket.
There were total 3 eye palettes of which I bought this one.
It comes in a sleek black packaging perfect for travelling. The packaging is quite sturdy and it was for around 3.50 € .
It comes with a dual ended brush which has a sponge tip one one end and a stiff brush on the other. Well quite nice and impressive till now.
On to the eye shadows !! I literally had those hearts popping out of my eyes like in cartoons when I swatched the colours. Sooo pretty !!!
7 buttery, smooth, well pigmented shades.. Perfect name for the palette.. Love those bronzy gold rosy colours !! These are really worth the try .. But surprisingly I havent seen it on essence website or on their aocial media feed or probably I missed it. Whatever may be , I am glad I bought this as an addition to my summer must haves collection 🙂 🙂 these are I think limited edition so go get you some !!
I hope you enjoyed my post .. See you guys soon !!
Until then ,
Much love 🙂 🙂 🙂
So since I have been travelling a lot, I thought I would share my travel makeup. Hope you enjoy this post 🙂
I found this bag at a local clothing store for 5€. Its of the perfect size like neither too big nor too small. I can literally carry all my life in it.
For brushes, I keep 1 blush brush, 1 dense brush for foundation, a dense eye shadow brush and an angled eye liner brush which has a spoolie at the end. I also keep a powder brush which I forgot to show.
For face I have been really enjoying the maybelline superstay foundation in sand, essence translucent powder, catrice sun bronzer, makeup revolution euphoria palette in bare which as you can see has a bronzer, highlighter, blush, and eyeshadows in 1, and finally catrice highlighter which i mainly use for setting under eyes.
For eyes, I keep essence big lashes mascara, catrice eye shadow quad, essence metal glam eye shadow, p2 eye pencil and maybelline gel liner.
For lips, I keep this p2 soft nude lipstick which is in a coral colour, 2 nude lip pencils, and rimmel kate moss lipstick which is a red shade.
So this is it for this post , ofcourse it also depends on the season and where am I going. So this is basically my current travel makeup bag.
Until next time,
Much love 🙂 🙂 🙂
Hello there !!
Its day 7 of the challenge. Sunset inspired. I had fun doing this as I dint know it would look so good and its pretty wearable too. So without further adoo—
have an amazing day lovlies !!
Until then, much love<3 ❤
In my last haul, there were essence gel nail polishes I mentioned. These are new and I purchased 3 of them which I am reviewing in this post.
According to the website– long-lasting love! with the next generation of the essence nail polishes! The special formulation of the gel nail polishes give your nails an incredibly long-lasting, high-gloss gel-finish. stunning gloss guaranteed! the nail polish range offers a great diversity of colour, combined with perfect opacity.
Price- 1,55 €
My thoughts- I have never tried gel nail polishes. So when I saw these on the stands I was excited and grabbed 3 of them in different finishes. A matte, shimmer and the normal one. I think the sand effect is also new(I may be wrong, may be it is from their permanent collection but I saw it just recently.)
I love essence colour and go nail polishes and even their ‘i love rends’ range. So I was positive about these too. They have brought out amazing range of 46 colours from reds to purples to blues black yellow pinks.. There’s a colour for everyone. essence recommends using a gel base coat and top coat for the perfect gel manicure, but I haven’t used any.
Texture and pigmentation
Matte– The texture of the matte effect nail polish is a little difficult to work with. You have to work in thin layers because they seem t be gloppy and thick if you apply too much at once.
one coat isn’t enough because it looks patchy but with 2 coats its much better. They obviously dry to a matte finish. Overall for the price, Its a nice one.
Shimmer– This one is my absolute favourite. I am totally head over heels in love with this nail polish. The shine and the shimmer is not gritty or cheap looking.
The texture is quite nice of the shimmer one and one coat give a medium coverage. I have applied 2 coats and done!
I give this 1 a big big thumbs up 🙂
The Gel– These are the normal gel ones. The texture is neither too thick nor thin. It applies evenly but still have to work in thin layers to avoid looking gloppy.
They have a nice and smooth finish. Overall a nice one if your looking for affordable options to try out gel nail polishes.
sparkle sand effect– This nail polish feels like sand on your nails with silver sparkles. They are sheer and looks great as a top coat or as an accent nail.
(ignore the messy application)
Final thoughts- They are definitely not like the colour and go nail polishes but I would say hey are colour carefully and wait nail polishes. They take A little bit more time to dry completely. I am not much of a fan of the matte finish but I loved the colour. I would definitely recommend the shimmer one and the normal gel one.
Their lasting power is pretty impressive. 1 and half week and no chips. And being a housewife, we all know nail polishes lasting that much is a major plus point.
So I hope this review was helpful. I would purchase more colours as they have other finishes too. What colours are you guys enjoying? Have you tried the new essence the gel nail polishes?
Have an amazing day lovlies:)
Much love 🙂 🙂
