Makeup Revolution blush palette – hot spice review

Hello everybody!!

It seems like its been ages since I have posted a review. I have been meaning to do this review for quite a long time but due to so much travelling I coudn’t get time.

To the review..–

Price- on the site £6 but I bought it at a discount for £3

This was first marketed as an ultra blush and contour palette but now its just a blush palette. The site says its highly pigmented, easy to blend, and contains 8 shades comprising of shimmer, matte and merged baked blush and highlighter. Sounds like everything you need is in this palette. Did it live up to its claims? We shall see—

This blush comes in a very nice sleek pakaging which feels quite sturdy and good quality for the price. It feels a little heavy kind of.

Theres a giant size mirror for which I give major props to makeup revolution. Its great for on the go touch ups.

There are 8 blushes which are quite warm toned and I cannot imagine to use them as a contour. Thats why I guess it was named just a blush palette. There are no names given to the blushes so I will just divide them as top row and bottom row.

  Top row

  Bottom row

Pigmentation and texture– I kid u not they just need a tap to build enough colour on the cheeks. The texture is smooth and easily blendable.

Colours– The colours just totally scream summer. I love especially the right side ones as they can be used as a bronzer. The 2 baked blush and highlighter are my least favourite since I found them to be least pigmented. But overall a great mix of warm toned colours.

Staying power- Now the staying power really depends. I live in a place where the climate is favourable in summers. Not too cool not too warm. Its just in between. So I got a pretty long wear outta them. 6 hours to be precise. But paris was kinda weird. Sometimes it was windy, but sunny. So I saw my blush fading off after the 4th hour. It fades evenly and needed slight touch up for the evening.

Final thoughts- I totally give this palette a thumbs up. I love the colours, I love the packaging, its sleek and just for 3£ I would totally not miss a chance to grab this. So this is it for this post.

I hope this review helped. Thankyou so much for reading. I love you guys ❤ ❤

Until next time,

Much love 🙂 🙂
